The Merchandise section will be divided into franchise specific
items, (i.e. Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc.). There will also be a separate Collector's
Items section for those items that lend themselves to such a category, (i.e. Statues and Busts, collector's pins,
special edition posters and the like.). If you have any other ideas, please feel
free to email me at worldsofnintendo@hotmail.com. Have fun!
Franchise Specific items
Super Mario Brothers:
Mario Hats: The park's trademark item. I little jab at Disney's Mickey
Ears, only ten times cooler. Red material hats emblazoned with the classic white
"M".
Portable F.L.U.D.D.: Strap
it on, fill it up, and douse some Piranha Plants.
These popular items are all the rage in Isle Delfino Waterpark!
Plush toys: From Mario to Koopa Troopas, they are all here. Just pick
your favorite character and take a cute stuffed version home with you.
Wind-up Bowser: An original
take on a classic toy. Turn Bowser's crank, and watch as he lumbers forward, sparks spewing from his gapping mouth!
Clothing: T-shirt styles vary from ride-specific to golf and bowling type.
Other types of clothing items include sweatshirts, hats, bandanas, jackets and almost any other article of clothing
imaginable, all sporting logos and characters from Nintendo's stable of talent.
The Legend of Zelda:
Master Swords: Both inflatable and plastic. Perfect for the kiddies to beat
each other senseless with. Other items could include boomerangs, plastic hook-shots,
and Deku walking sticks.
Link Hats: Link's signature green hat.
Ocarinas: Plastic and ceramic ocarinas perfect for belting out Zelda tunes.
Deku Nut Snap Caps: Small,
nut shaped, paper bags filled with small amounts of material that pop when thrown on the ground. Blind would-be assailants
with these magical items.
Metroid:
Maru Mari Balls: A large rubber ball in the shape of a transformed Samus.
Gun Arms: A plastic replica
of Samus' gun arm. Slip your hand inside and get ready to blast alien scum, or torment your little sister.
Plastic or Plush Metroid:
The plastic Metroid is filled with viscous goo, which can be squeezed and stretched easily. The Plush version
makes the classic Metroid squeal when pressure is applied to a noise box inside. They're so ugly, they're cute!
Super Smash Bros.
Action Figures: Highly detailed,
fully articulated action figures of all the combatants from Super Smash Bros. Melee. Just pick your favorite character,
and grab the corresponding figure. Hell, they should have these available now, but what are you gonna do?
Poke'mon:
Poke'mon Center: The Park would have to have a fully stocked and functional Poke'mon center like the ones found in New York City
and Japan.
Collector's Items
Statues and Busts: Highly detailed sculptures of your favorite Nintendo characters. Very similar in style to the trophies in Super Smash Bros. Melee, these would be a huge hit throughout
the park. Each piece comes with information about the character and the games
in which he/she has appeared.
True Master Sword: A mounted replica of the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda games. Highly polished and etched with the marks of the original. Each
one comes with a booklet outlining the sword's history and uses.
Golden Triforce: A plaque featuring a gold-plated Triforce; symbol of Hyrule's prosperity and troubled
past.
Chozo Statue: Approx. 12" tall, this jet black sculpture shows an enigmatic Chozo Statue grasping
a Screw Attack orb, awaiting its next owner. Comes with a small booklet chronicling their mysterious past and impact
upon the Metroid mythos.
Special Edition Games and
Systems: Either new releases or re-releases of older games and systems
specifically created for visitors to the park. Each comes branded with the park's insignia.
Signed Limited Edition
Posters: Highly detailed, original artwork signed by members of the various Nintendo Development teams.
Available in framed and non-framed versions.
Collector's Pins:
Legions of fans can come together from the far corners of the globe to look at and swap pins featuring their favorite
Nintendo characters. Think this sounds a little over the top? You haven't been to Disneyland recently, have you?
Collector's Figurines:
A Worlds of Nintendo exclusive! These small, 2" figures of Nintendo characters, items, and locales are traded
and swapped throughout the park, and on the outside by avid collectors. They're so popular, people make special
trips to the park when new ones are released... (My park, my page, my imagination).
Eternal Darkness Artifacts:
Perfect for the office or home study, these recreations are as detailed as they are spooky. Choose from "The Heart of
Mantorok", "The Claw of Chattur'gha", "The Veil of Ulyaoth", or "The Sigil of Xel'lotath". Each sculpture is encased
in glass and comes with a booklet outlining the history of the ancients. To be on the safe side, you might want to pick
up one of each. You don't want to insult any of the ancients without being able to summon its superior.
The Tome of Eternal Darkness:
A painstaking recreation of the Tome of Eternal Darkness. Bound in faux flesh and bone, this forsaken book
outlines all of the spells in the game, the stories of each of the key players, and the complete collection of autopsy reports
from Max. Makes a perfectly twisted coffee table book...Happy reading!
Scale Model Kits: Alright, so
I visited my local hobby shop today and I checked out the model section. They had everything from World War I Fighter
planes to The Mighty Thor, but not a single video game related kit. Well, Worlds of Nintendo will have you covered.
Choose from three inspired designs: Link pulling the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, Samus battling The Mother
Brain, or Mario stomping on the head of a wandering Koopa Troopa. The model kits are each sold separately, but knowing most
Nintendo fans, you'll have all three the second you enter the shop.
